What is this IT?
The coin is slightly larger than a quarter, either in gold, silver, copper, or green colors. It is double sided, and inscribed with a winged hour glass symbol on one side, and the Voyager golden recorded pulsar graphic on the other. On one side it has latitude and longitude coordinates for a sundial with a similar winged hour glass in Chatham Square, Savannah, GA, USA. Rough latin and binary cover each side. The edges are smooth and devoid of ridges.
It also is inscribed with a date in the old BC/AD format:
June, 28, 2030. 3:00PM EST.
As mentioned on the home page, we’re not entirely sure it’s purpose or why these exist, and what could the ominous date possible mean, which is why we are making this project!
We have been able to track down these coins, that some are calling “Time Traveller” or “Time Machine” coins, as far back to 2019 however it’s possible there may be earlier examples out there. These have been found across the United States and in more recent years have been uncovered in multiple other countries; with more being found to this day!

We are a team of filmmakers and documentarians from across the United States, with our primary team members based in the state of Georgia. We make projects based around the strange and unusual, from the weird paranormal and supernatural to the outrageous. We believe in strong storytelling around people and their experiences makes for the best documentaries. This project around this strange coin is just our latest, and we can’t wait to have you join us!
